Description
Gutchess Lumber Co., Inc., is a leading manufacturer of northern hardwoods for over a century is seeking an experienced salesperson of Kiln Dried Lumber. This is a challenging full time position with excellent salary and benefits including participation in the company employee stock ownership program (ESOP).
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of NHLA grade rules
- Exceptional communication, persuasion and presentation skills
- Hardwood marketing knowledge
- Ability to travel up to 50% of work time
Safety:
- Hands free device when driving to and from locations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (2 year college degree acceptable)
- A minimum of 7 years hardwood sales experience.
- Must have a solid working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and the ability to learn various PC-based production reporting applications.
